Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Vasota Riverside Resort, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy ensures fairness for both our guests and our team.


❗ 1. Cancellation 24 Hours Before

If you cancel the booking within 24 hours of your scheduled stay:
80% of the booking amount will be refunded
➡ 20% will be retained as administrative / reservation holding charges.


❗ 2. Cancellation 12 Hours Before

If you cancel the booking at least 12 hours before the scheduled day:
50% of the booking amount will be refunded
➡ 50% will be retained as cancellation charges.


❗ 3. Same Day Cancellation / No Show

If you do not arrive, or cancel on the same day (after check-in period begins):
No refund will be applicable


👶 Children Charges

Children charges will apply as per the standard resort policy provided during booking.


🍽 Important Note on “Unlimited Meal”

When mentioned:
“Unlimited meal” refers specifically to unlimited curry / rassa (gravy)
✔ Not unlimited meat / chicken
✔ Not unlimited dry pieces
✔ Not unlimited special items

This clarification ensures correct expectation of meal servings.


📌 Booking Transfer or Date Adjustment

If you want to change the booking date instead of canceling:
✔ We will try to reschedule based on availability
✔ Rate difference (if any) may apply
✔ Reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours before check-in


💳 Refund Method

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed:
✔ to the same source of payment (UPI/Card/Bank Transfer)
✔ within 5–7 working days


🧾 Proof of Booking

Guests must provide:
✔ Booking confirmation
✔ Name & contact number used during booking


🏨 Resort Rights

The resort reserves the right to:
✔ Cancel or modify bookings due to emergency/weather conditions
✔ Refuse stay if guest behavior violates safety rules
✔ Take necessary steps to ensure safety & property care
